Our Patron Saints Sophia and her three daughters Faith, Hope and Love, aside from being specific historic figures who lived in Rome during the reign of Emperor Hadrian (117-138), to us Christians remain examples of steadfast faith and strength to endure strife even unto death for the sake of Christ. To what may appear to many today as religious extremism, Christians gaze at with respect and veneration, offering worship to God in Trinity - the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit - for the gift of His saints to us as intercessors and support.

The feastday of these holy women of Christ is celebrated every year on September 17th.
